Preparation prior to Interview

I just found out that there are still series of preparation you need to do before you face your job interview. And its conducting a company background research. So that you can prepare yourself to the question the interviewer might ask you during your interview. Here are some tips you can use to have a good company background research:
1) You can use the resources of the internet for your research. You may ask help from google or yahoo, if your company is commonly known you will not have hard time in searching because they are sometimes required to make some company information available to public.
2) You can also have a lot of friends who might know something about the company you are researching. Like for example your friends aunt is working as supervisor to the company you are researching then you can ask her some question about the company and that will be a big help.
Selling Strategy
Actually selling is not an easy task, you may need proper knowledge and trainings on strategy to sell something. There are various strategies that I want to share with you.
1st Telemarketing. Almost every credit card company and big loan institution make use of this strategy because its the less cost but effective way to market your product or services. What you will need in here is just the Leads (that can be get from your telephone directory, newspaper, ads paper, or even phonebook), Spiel (this will serve as your script, you need to make it lively and convincing), and of course your telephone.
2nd Brochures, Posters, and etc. This strategy is old one but I find it still effective. You need to give-out brochure, post your Banners, and have a booth at places that has many people such as at malls, near offices, and etc. Using this strategy will require you great effort and money.
3rd Advertising. Almost everyday we see promotions on TV, we see big advertisement on Newspaper, and we hear promotions on radio. This strategy is very effective now a days but very expensive.
4th ON-LINE Advertising. Almost everyone who is reading this blog knows how to use the computer right? And almost every one of us keeps on browsing and searching for websites, blogs, or forums. This web-content site has sponsor ads at the side and sometimes we tend to be curious that’s why we click it. In this manner we learn something about the product or the services that the advertiser is offering.

PROFESSIONAL SALES JOB: TELEMARKETING (cont…)
(cont…)
After all of this if we find their voice interested we need to ask them immediately where to fax or to mail the application form. After the client furnish all the requirements and the application form we need to ask them to fax back the application form to us for a fast processing. After the form forwarded to the credit card company we will just wait if the client was approved so that we will have our commission. In this type of job the compensation depends on the agency but in my case it is commission basis in short I will just earn if I have made a sales.

PROFESSIONAL SALES JOB: TELEMARKETING
Telemarketing is one kind of sales or marketing strategy and at the same time it is a professional sales job. Let me share my experience in this kind of job so that you will have a clear picture on what it is. I work as a telemarketer for 6 months in an agency of a well known credit card company. Our routine is to call all the numbers in the prospect list that is given by the agency. Ask the clients if they have credit cards, if they have one we need to ask them what credit card it is and invite them to apply for our credit card.

Acceptance: Key to Moving on from a Rejection
Rejection is a part of every person’s work life. Your resume can get rejected in the screening process, your interview could end in a bitter note, you may not be considered for a promotion and you could even be a victim of a company’s downsizing efforts.
But just because you got rejected means you’re a loser. Remember that there are several factors why you get rejected other than yourself and your capabilities. Accepting your fate is key to moving on with your work life.
Why not try to re-evaluate your career plan to identify what went wrong? You may also set new career goals to make a fresh start. You know life doesn’t end after a rejection and that success can always be achieved with enough determination and hard work.
Sales Experience Can Boost Career Success
It is quite common to hear college students and new graduates reject the thought of pursuing a career in sales. They often say salespeople are hated since they sell stuff that people dont want. This notion is utterly misguided and baseless.
A salesperson may sell a product, but you may also sell a service or a cause depending on the company. From selling different stuff lies the biggest challenge and that is to be able to convince your client that they need the product you are selling.
Many business leaders today started out in sales and believe that their sales experience is the biggest factor responsible for their success. It is because the organizational, communication and persuasion skills learned and honed in sales are crucial in understanding the complex world of the other career fields and in realizing the goals of almost every organization.
