I just found out that there are still series of preparation you need to do before you face your job interview. And its conducting a company background research. So that you can prepare yourself to the question the interviewer might ask you during your interview. Here are some tips you can use to have a good company background research:

1) You can use the resources of the internet for your research. You may ask help from google or yahoo, if your company is commonly known you will not have hard time in searching because they are sometimes required to make some company information available to public.
2) You can also have a lot of friends who might know something about the company you are researching. Like for example your friends aunt is working as supervisor to the company you are researching then you can ask her some question about the company and that will be a big help.

3. In order to make your resume attractive, I suggest that you put template or something that catch the attention of the HR or the Employer so that they can prioritized your resume but avoid to much or over because they might be irritated with it and throw it away.

4. Make a clean and proper resume. Don’t submit a resume that is crumpled or folded and dirty because it’s not good to the eye sight of the HR or the Employer. It must be clean and place in a long folder or enveloped to avoid unnecessary dirt.

5. Don’t forget to put at least 3 Character Reference with contact nos. so that the HR or the Employer can Investigate on your background.

How to prepare a good resume?

Resume, Curriculum Vitae or Bio-Data is a personal information sheet of a person applying for a job. It is a piece of paper where in all the information to an applicant can be seen such as Name, Contact Information, Personal Information, Educational Attainment, Other Skills, Seminars Attended and Awards Received, Previous Working Experience if available and Personal References. I will now give tips on how to prepare a comprehensive resume:

1. According to one seminar that I have attended “Preparing a Good Resume”. In the trends today, Picture in the resume is not necessary because most of applicants apply thru job fair which requires appearance to the booth of the company. Or even through walk-in that requires the applicant to drop-by the office and apply personally.

2. Most of the e-mail addresses in the Resume of applicants are improper and must be changed to a proper one by putting it in a pattern, lastname_firstname@email.com.
